EU Alert - 20022024

Dear Madam/Sir,
 
In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions. FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.
 
The alerts from EU generated during 13th - 19th Febraury 2024 are as under:
  1. Poland : Absence of health certificate for frozen peppers from India
    • Product: Food (Fruits and vegetables) - Peppers (other than sweet) (Capsicum spp.)
    • Risk: Not Serious
    • Notification type: Border Rejection Notification
    • Action Taken: Product (to be) redispatched or destroyed
    • Date: 14-02-2024

  2. Ireland : Pesticide residues in rice from India
    • Product: Food (Cereals and bakery products) - Rice
    • Risk: Potential Risk
    • Notification type: Border Rejection Notification
    • Action Taken: Official detention
    • Date: 13-02-2024
