Dear Madam/Sir,

In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions. FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.

The alerts from EU generated during 12^th - 18^th December 2023 are as under:

France : Presence of vibrio in fozen shrimp (raw)
- Product: Food (Crustaceans and products thereof) - Frozen shrimps
- Risk: Serious
- Notification type: Alert Notification
- Action Taken: Recall from consumer

Sweden : Ethylene oxide in spice mix from India
- Product: Food (Herbs and spices) - Crushed or ground

- Action Taken: Official detention

Sweden : Pesticides in yardlong beans (monocrotophos, dimethoate, omethoate, carbendazim)
- Product: Food (Fruits and vegetables) - Beans (Vigna spp., Phaseolus spp.)
- Risk: Serious

- Action Taken: Destruction
