EU Alerts: 10th October, 2023

Dear Madam/Sir,
 
In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions. FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.
 
The alerts from EU generated during 3rd - 9th October 2023 are as under:
  1. Greece: Chlorpyrifos in curry powder from India
    • Risk: Potentially Serious
    • Notification type:  Food (Herbs and spices) - Curry powder - Border rejection notification
    • Action Taken:  Official detention
    • Date:  04-10-2023
