Dear Madam/Sir,

In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions. FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.

The alerts from EU generated during 6^th - 12^th June 2023 are as under:

1. Slovenia: Ethylene oxide found in Ashwaganda from India

Risk: Serious
Notification type: Food - Border rejection notification - Border control - consignment detained
Action Taken: Official detention

2. Poland: Absence of results of analysis and official certificate for plants extracts intended for production of food supplements originating from India

Risk: Not serious

Action Taken: Return to consignors

3. Slovenia: Absence of health certificate for food supplement containing botanicals from India

Risk: Not serious
