Dear Madam/Sir,

In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions. FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.

The alerts from EU generated during 28^th February - 6^th March 2023 are as under:

1. Belgium: Indian origin Children's dress set recalled due to trapped issue from Customer to avoid injuries during various activities of a child.

Yellow dress for 9 months old babies. The product bears long functional cords in the upper chest area. The cords may become trapped during various activities of a child, leading to strangulation or injuries. This product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 14682.
