In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions. FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.
 
The alerts from EU generated during 13th - 20th December 2022 is as under:
 
1. Belgium: Children's t-shirt set recalled from Customer to avoid trapping & Strangulation risk
 
The product has long functional cords with free ends in the neck area. These cords can become trapped during various activities of a child, leading to strangulation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 14682.
