The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) published following:
- Notification No. 1/2015-2020 dated 23 April 2019 (Click here) regarding prohibition on import of milk and milk products from China extended until the capacity of all laboratories at ports of entry have been suitably upgraded for testing melamine.
- Trade Notice No. 07/2019-20 dated 23 April 2019 (Click here) regarding implementation of MOU between India and Mozambique for import of pigeon peas and other pulses grown in Mozambique.
- Appendix 3 (SCOMET Items) to Schedule - 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2018 amended – DGFT Notification Notification No 3/2015-2020 dated 24/04/2019 (Click here) .
- Export policy of Chloropicrin: Trichloronitro Methane and Methyldiethanolamine listed under Appendix 3 (SCOMET List) have been amended to allow export of these chemicals to State Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) without an export authorisation on reporting basis – DGFT Notification No 2/2015-2020 dated 24/04/2019 (Click here) .

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) published following:
- Order No. 5/2019 Central Tax dated 23 April 2019 (Click here) extending the time limit for filing an application for revocation of cancellation of registration for specified taxpayers.
- Circular no. 99/2019 dated 23 April 2019 (Click here) seeks to clarify the extension in time under sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Act to provide a one-time opportunity to apply for revocation of cancellation of registration on or before the 22nd July, 2019 for the specified class of persons for whom cancellation order has been passed up to 31st March, 2019.
