The Directorate General of Foreign Trade published Notification No. 46/2018 dated 24 December, 2018 (Click Here) - prohibition on import of milk and milk products (including chocolates and chocolate products and candies/ confectionary/ food preparations with milk or milk solids as an ingredient) from China is extended for a further period of four months, i.e., till 23.04.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has published Notification No 99/2018-Cus (NT) published on 20 December, 2018 (Click Here) notifying rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees.

The Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published following:
- Order dated 26 December, 2018 related to the validity period of 5 FSSAI notified NABL Accredited Food Testing Laboratories (Click Here) for the purposes of carrying out analysis of samples taken under Section 47 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

The Ministry of Textile, India published Notification No.1/61/2004-Exports-I (1,2) dated 14 December, 2018 (Click Here) regarding extension of operation of residuary provisions of Garments and Knitwears Export Entitlement (Quota) policies with effect from 1 January, 2019.

Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a Circular No. 51/2018 / TT-BCT dated 19 December, 2018 (Click Here) amending the Joint Circular 47/2011 / TTLT-BCT-BTNMT regulating the management of import, export and temporary import - re-export of ozone depleting substances in accordance with the Montreal Protocol on ozone depleting substances. This Circular takes effect from 4 February, 2019.

Laos Ministry of Industry and Commerce issued a directive on controlling tobacco products with the lowest retail and retail price index No. 1791 / CPC on 18 December, 2018 (Click Here) with the Department of Industry and Trade of the province, capital and the Office of Industry and Commerce, and distributing cigarettes, markets and shops across the country.

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Instrument No. 4 (MRL Standard) Amendment Instrument 2018 (No. 11) (Click Here) dated 14 December, 2018. It amends the MRLs of agricultural and veterinary chemicals and MRLs for pesticides in animal feed commodities for certain compounds.
