  3. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published 40 CFR Part 180 on 4 December 2018 establishing tolerances for residues of oxytetracycline, bixafen, clomazone, bifenthrin, and dinotefuran in or on various commodities.

  4. USDA Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) published FSIS Directive 7120.1 Revision 48 (Click Here) published on 8 December 2018. This directive lists safe and suitable ingredients, including food additives, used in the production of meat, poultry, and egg products.

  5. Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), Australia published Gazette No. 24 - 4 December 2018 (Click Here) regarding MRLs for pesticides in or on various commodities.

  6. New Zealand's Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) published Food Notice on Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds on 5 December 2018 (Click Here) which is a consolidated MRL standard that includes amendments proposed in September 2018.

  7. Argentina updated the Argentinian Food Code through Resoluciónes Conjuntas 9/201818/2018, and 14/2018. These updates include food additive information. They are effective from November 22, 2018 for 9/2018 and 18/2018 and November 23, 2018 for 14/2018. 

  8. Argentina’s Directorate of Domestic Trade Policies and Competition published Resolución Conjunta 12/201 amendment to the standard for infant foods (Click Here). The standard includes food additive information. It is effective as of November 22, 2018. There is a grace period for compliance until November 22, 2019.

SECRETARÍA DE GOBIERNO DE AMBIENTE Y DESARROLLO SUSTENTABLE, Argentina published Resolution 85/2018 on the 6 of December 2018 (Click Here)regarding Energy efficiency resolution for M1/N1 vehicles. The resolution will require to show 15% of certified vehicles 6 months after publications and up to 50% of certified vehicles 12 months after publication in the official gazette.

  10. Ministry of Transport and Telecommunication, Chile has published regulation for technical, structural and safety requirements for certain electric buses (Click Here). The requirements are based both on ECE regulations and/or Chinese GB standards and are both accepted as alternatives.
