The DGFT published Trade Notice 30/2015-2020 dated 11 September, 2018 (Click Here) pertaining to guidelines to apply for MEIS under the System Driven approval mechanism for MEIS applications for shipping bills from EDI ports.

The Indian Bureau of Standards (BIS) added the BIS website address (www.bis.gov.in) to the label for products that received BIS certification as mentioned in point (7) of the sixth paragraph of the 2018 certification regulations document "Labelling and marking requirements" dated 31 August, 2018 (Click Here). This requirement shall be implemented with effect from 1 March, 2019.

For the purposes of Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (A-TUFS) the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India has approved following:
- Electronic Jacquard for Conventional looms (Shuttle looms) machine (Click Here) on 31 August, 2018.
- Bassein Catholic Cooperative Bank Ltd as Lending Agency eligible for grant of benefits (Click Here) on 3 September, 2018.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has published following:
- Notification No. 60/2018 – Customs dated 11 September, 2018 (Click Here) which stated that exemption in respect of specified goods manufactured in India and reimported into India for repairs or reconditioning subject to certain conditions. Said goods shall include printers, fax machines, automatic data processing machines, radar apparatus, projectors, colour TVs, Hearing aids, etc.
- Notification No. 43/2018-Customs (ADD) published on 6 September, 2018 (Click Here) notified Anti-dumping Duty of 47.15% of CIF Value on Glass Chopped Strands Mats (CSM) Exported by Asia Composite Materials Thailand.
- Notification No. 44/2018-Customs (ADD) published on 6 September, 2018 (Click Here) regarding Anti-dumping Duty on Graphite Electrodes from China Dropped.
- Notification No. 77/2018 - Customs (N.T.) dated 6 September, 2018 (Click Here) notified foreign currency exchange rate against Indian Rupee.

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published following dated 7 September, 2018:
- Gazette Notification on Food Safety and Standards (Food Safety Auditing) Regulations, 2018 (Click Here). The regulation draws its powers from Section 44 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, which empowers the Food Authority to recognize an organization or an agency for carrying out food safety audit and checking compliance with the Food Safety Management Systems required under the Act or the rules and regulations thereunder.
- Gazette Notification of the Food Analyst appointed under FSS Act in notified private NABL recognized laboratory (Click Here).

The Government of Vietnam published Decree No. 115/2018 / ND-CP dated 4 September, 2018 (Click Here) stipulating the sanctioning of administrative violations on food safety takes effect from 20 October, 2018 and replace Decree 178/2013 / ND-CP. That decree covers the fine levels and measures to overcome the consequences of violations of regulations on conditions for ensuring food safety.

Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Colombia published following dated 6 September, 2018:
- Resolution 0721 - Technical Regulation for Zinc-Carbon and Alkaline Batteries (Click Here).
- Resolution 1373 - Technical Regulation on Labeling of Apparel is modified (Click Here).

Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare published Administrative contact dated 11 September, 2018 (Click Here)pertaining to partial revision of analytical notes concerning the test method of substances which are ingredients of pesticide, feed additive or veterinary medicine remaining in food.

Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP), Uruguay published r esolution 97/018 dated 28 August, 2018 (Click Here)provide that domestic manufacturers, importers and others, of inputs developed from organic raw material for agricultural use, may not market them without first registering them and obtaining authorization to sell the MGAP.

South Korea Food and Drug Administration published Presidential Decree No. 29158 published on 11 September, 2018 (Click Here)amending Enforcement Decree of Medical Device Technique.

Brazil National Agency of Sanitary Surveillance (Anvisa) will adopt a new format for publication of acts in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), regarding records and registrations of medical devices dated 11 September, 2018 (Click Here). As of 17 September, 2018, the publications in the Diary will only contain the essential information for the identification of the petition with Anvisa: social name / CNPJ, commercial name, case number, registration number and subject of the petition and file number.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) amended following tolerances for residues dated 9 September, 2018:

- The inert ingredient Cloquintocet-mexyl (Click Here) in or on teff commodities when used in formulations with the active ingredients florasulam and fluroxypyr 1-methylhelptyl ester.
