Brazil - Establishes active ingredient C25.1 - CLORIDRATO DE CARTAPE (cartap) of the Monograph List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers

Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) published resolution incorporates the following changes for the active ingredient C25.1 - CLORIDRATO DE CARTAPE (cartap) from the Relation of Monographies of Active Ingredients of Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers, all in the modality of foliar use (application):

-         includes the pea, caupi bean, lima bean, pigeon bean, mung bean, green bean, chickpea, and lentil cultures with MRL 0,1 mg/kg and safety security period of 14 days;

-         includes the soya culture with MRL of 0,01 mg/kg and safety security period of 14 days;

-         includes the phrase: "j) acceptable daily intake (ADI) of 0,016 mg/kg b.w. (source: FSCJ*, 2019)";

-         includes the phrase: "k) Acute Reference Dose (ARfD) = 0,1 mg/kg b.w. (source: FSCJ*, 2019)";

-         includes the phrase:  "Food Safety Commission of Japan".
