Mexico evaluating the conformity of the Official Mexican Standard NOM 223-SCFI / SAGARPA-2018 Cheese

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food establishes the process and requirements that producers or product managers must comply with, to demonstrate compliance with products called cheese and their different names in accordance with the Official Mexican Standard NOM-223-SCFI / SAGARPA-2018, Cheese Denomination, Specifications, commercial information and test methods, published on January 31, 2019 in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

This Draft Conformity Assessment Procedure is applicable to all cheeses and their different denominations that are marketed in the territory of the United Mexican States.
