Brazil proposes changes for the active ingredient abamectin

The Brazilian Health Regulatory incorporates the following changes for the active ingredient A18 - ABAMECTINA (abamectin) from the Relation of Monographies of Active Ingredients of Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers:

• changes the MRL of the potato, bean, and melon cultures from 0,005 to 0,01 mg/kg in all modalities of use (application);
• changes the MRL of the citrus culture from 0,005 to 0,02 mg/kg in the modality of foliar use (application);
• changes the MRL of the grape culture from 0,03 to 0,6 mg/kg in the modality of foliar use (application).

Products Covered: vegetables (cooked or uncooked by steaming in water), melons, papayas, leguminous vegetables, citrus fruit, grapefruit
