Chile - Modification Decree No. 26/2000 of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications and Modification Resolution No. 48/2000 of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunication

The Supreme Decree No. 26/2000 of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, which establishes safety features applicable to light motor vehicles, including the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the electronic stability program (ESP).

There is a certain timetable so that according to this, vehicles that are incorporated into the country have ABS and ESP systems. In addition, Resolution No. 48/2000 of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, which sets the international standards for anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and the electronic stability program (ESP), is modified.
