Mexico - Technical specifications of marine turtle excluders used by the shrimp trawl fleet in waters of federal jurisdiction of the United Mexican States

The Federal Government has established a series of regulations and implemented technical processes to protect, conserve and promote the recovery of populations of the various species of sea turtles, as well as their nesting areas, seeking the least affectation on the part Of fishing activities.

Proposed date of adoption:This Draft Official Mexican Standard will be adopted once it is published in the Official Gazette of the Federation as the definitive Official Mexican Standard

Proposed date of entry into force:This Official Mexican Standard will come into force sixty calendar days after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
