The Secretariat of Animal and Plant Health and Inspection - SDA of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply - MAPA, aiming to modernize the procedures for equivalence recognition of foreign sanitary inspection systems with regard to export animal products to Brazil, published Portaria SDA/MAPA nº 126/2016 amending Portaria SDA/MAPA nº 183/1998.
