Republic of Korea – Draft revision for safety and quality mark criteria for textile products and leather products

Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) has issued a draft revision for safety and quality mark criteria fortextile products and leather productsnotice has been revised as follows:

·  Electrical safety requirements for Textile Products and Leather Products including Li‑ion battery are added

According to the Safety and Quality Mark System, manufacturers or importers should indicate labelling of safety or quality if their products are subject to safety and quality mark.

Proposed date of adoption: December 2016 or later

Proposed date of entry into force: December 2016 or later

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
