Mexico - Draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-003-SAG/GAN-2016: Specifications for propolis production and processing

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food has published draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-003-SAG/GAN-2016: Specifications for propolis production and processing

The notified Standard applies to livestock units engaged in the production, importation, packaging and storage of propolis and propolis extracts, with a view to the distribution and marketing thereof in national territory. Implementation of the provisions of this Standard falls to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA), through the General Coordinating Agency for Livestock, as well as the delegations of SAGARPA within their respective powers and territories.

Proposed date of entry into force: 60 calendar days after the publication of the final Mexican Official Standard in the Official Journal.
