Japan - Revisions to the Japanese Agricultural Standards for Organic Processed Foods

Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japanhas issued notification on revision of Japanese Agricultural Standards for Organic Processed foodsas follows:

1)   To add powdered cellulose as permitted substances for food additives

2)   To add extract from geranium and citronella as permitted substances for chemical agents

Proposed date of adoption: To be determined

Proposed date of entry into force: To be determined

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
