South Africa - Compulsory Specification for Safety of Electric Cables with Extruded Solid Dielectric Insulation for Fixed Installations

NRCS (National Regulator Compulsory Specification) has published Compulsory Specification for Safety of Electric Cables with Extruded Solid Dielectric Insulation for Fixed Installations (300/500 V TO 1 900/3 300 V). This compulsory specification covers the safety of single-core and multi core extruded solid dielectric insulated cables of rated operating voltage (Uo /U) in the range (300/500 V to 1900/3300 V), for use in fixed installations.

Proposed date of entry into force: 2 January 2017

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
