Kenya - KS 2658: 2016 Emergency medical services ambulance operators – Requirements

Kenya Bureau of Standards has published standard KS 2658: 2016 Emergency medical services ambulance operators – Requirements. This standard provides minimum training standards for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Ambulance Operators including legal aspects, operator qualifications and testing, history of EMS vehicle operations, vehicle types/equipment safety, physical forces, mechanics, pre-run, operations, post-run, and special circumstances.

Proposed date of adoption: Adopted in June 2016

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Cabinet Secretary, State Department of Industrializationand Enterprise Development.

Final date for comments: 21 August 2016
