New Zealand - Proposing Import Health Standard Schedule Ministry for Primary Industries has issued notification proposing Risk Management Proposal identifies pathogens which may be a risk to New Zealand and proposes import requirements (phytosanitary measures) for the import of Rosa nursery stock into New Zealand, from approved countries. The Import Health Standard Rosa nursery stock schedule with proposed measures is incorporated into the Risk Management Proposal document. The specific requirements included within this schedule are in addition to the requirements of Section 2.2 Entry conditions, of the Import Health Standard 155.02.06: Importation of nursery stock, which can be viewed at the following link: http://mpi.govt.nz/document-vault/1152. The phytosanitary measures are proposed to manage five phytoplasmas (Candidatus Phytoplasma asteris, mali, aurantifolia, prunorum, and rubi), three viruses (Blackberry chlorotic ringspot virus, Raspberry ringspot virus and Rose rosette virus), and prescribe alternative fungicide measures.
