The notified text establishes the procedure for applying Certification System No. 6, as described in Article 5 of Supreme Decree No 298 of 2005 of the Ministry of the Economy, Development and Reconstruction. Certification System No. 6 is applicable to all products subject to the certification system, which have a certificate issued abroad, and which comply with the test protocols established in Chile. Certification bodies domiciled abroad must also meet the accreditation standards established in Supreme Decree No. 298 of 2005.
