- The Directorate General of Foreign Trade published following:
- Notification No. 39/2015-2020 dated 3 October, 2018 (Click Here) bringing amendment in import policy of 34 items under Chapter 29 and 30 of ITC (HS), 2017 from 'Restricted' to 'Free' subject to No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Narcotics Commissioner, Gwalior, before import of the items.
- Notification No. 38/2015-2020 dated 28 September, 2018 (Click Here) adding graphite electrode industry to the existing four industries i.e. cement, lime kiln, calcium carbide and gasification industries in the Policy condition No. 6 of Chapter 27 under ITC (HS) 2017 relating to Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes., under Schedule 1 (Import Policy) vide Notification No. 25/2015- 2020 dated 17 August, 2018 (Click Here).
- Notification No. 37/2015-2020 dated 28 September, 2018 (Click Here) - import of Peas classified under Exim Code 07131000 (including Yellow peas, Green peas, Dun peas and Kaspa peas) is "Restricted" till 31.12.2018.
- Notification No. 36/2015-2020 dated 27 September, 2018 (Click Here) making amendments in Para 2.47 relating to Export through Courier Service/ Post under FTP 2015-20. The value limit for exports through post has been removed but there is a value limit of Rs. 5,00,000 in case of overseas shipments through courier services.
- Public Notice No. 41/2015-2020 dated 27 September, 2018 (Click Here) - MEIS benefit for certain items (Milk and Milk products) have been enhanced to 20%, from the current 10%, for exports made from the date of publication of this Public Notice to 12.01.2019.
- The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), India has published Notification No. 72/2018- Customs dated 28 September, 2018 (Click Here) to reduce the import duty on parts/ components used in manufacturing of specified textile machinery to Nil.
- Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House (JNCH) (Nhava Sheva) has issued Public Notice No. 134/2018 dated 1 October, 2018 (Click Here) informing about the revised procedure for “Manual correction in EDI Bills of Entry at JNCH. The revised procedure will be effective from 5th October 2018.
- Minister of Industry and Trade, Vietnam published Circular No. 30/2018 / TT-BCT dated 1 October, 2018 (Click Here) guiding Decree No. 107/2018 / ND-CP on rice export business.
- Ministry of Industry, Thailand published Notification No. 5059 (2061) dated 3 October, 2018 (Click Here) defining industrial product standards, methods of testing paints, varnishes and related materials.
- The Australian Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources published IFN 11-18: amendments to the Imported Food Control Act 1992 dated 27 September, 2018 (Click Here). The revision involves holding orders, mutual recognition of food safety regulatory systems, changing inspection or inspection rates and sampling rates, enforcement, food safety management certificates, traceability records, etc.
