Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles, SEC (Electricity and Fuel Board) has issued notified protocol establishes the safety certification procedure for portable air-conditioners and dehumidifiers, in accordance with the scope and field of application of International Electrotechnical Commission Standard IEC 60335-2-40:2005.

Final date for comments: 60 days from the date of notification.
