ForProtection of human health or safety, KBS has specifies requirements and methods of test for liquid synthetic detergent that contains a phenolic, quaternary ammonium or other type of germicide and which is intended primarily for general cleaning and disinfecting floors, walls and other hard surfaces. Disinfecting detergents are detergents that contain chemicals capable of destroying or inhibiting the growth of harmful micro-organisms. They are used for general cleaning and disinfecting of floors, walls and hard surfaces in institutions where the destruction of bacteria is important, such as hospitals, hotels and food processing areas.

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Industry Investment and Trade
