The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has published following:
- Public Notice No. 49/2015-2020 dated 22 November, 2018 (Click Here) - Non Basmati rice items have been made eligible for MEIS benefits at the rate of 5% for exports made from 26.11.2018 and upto 25.03.2019.
- Public Notice No. 50/2015-2020 dated 26 November, 2018 (Click Here) - Procedure for allocation of quota for import of (i) Calcined Pet Coke (CPC) for use in Aluminium Industry and (ii) Raw Pet Coke for CPC manufacturing industry is notified.

The Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published following:
- Notification of Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) thirteenth Amendment Regulations, 2018 dated 27 November, 2018 (Click Here) regarding insertion of Sub-regulations 2.1.21, 2.1.22 and 2.1.23, specifying standards for Milk Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Concentrate and Cow or Buffalo Colostrum and Colostrum products, respectively, in Regulation 2.1 relating to “Dairy Product and Analogues”.
- Notification no. F.No. Stds/03/Notification (CFOI&YC)/FSSAI-2017 dated 27 November, 2018 (Click Here) on Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Eleventh Amendment Regulations, 2018 related to standards of formulated supplements for children.
- Letter dated 20 November 2018 (Click Here) pertains to imported areca/ betel nut consignments which will be subjected to food testing as per prescribed standards. Standards for areca/betel nuts have been prescribed in the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products and Standards and Food Additives) Regulation 2011 under the sub-regulation Arecanuts or Betelnuts of Supari (2.3.55), the prescribed limit for aflatoxins in areca nuts is 15μg/kg.

The Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade published following:
- Circular 48/2018 / TT-BCT dated 21 November, 2018 (Click Here) amending Circular 55/2014 / TT-BCT guiding the management of chemicals in the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, Use and destroy chemical weapons.

National Health Surveillance Agency of Brazil (ANVISA) published new standard - Resolution RDC 250/2018 dated 26 November, 2018 (Click Here) pertaining to an update of the rules of cosmetics that simplifies and streamlines the treatment of these products in the country. Under the new measure, cosmetic products will be exempted from registration but subject to prior notification before they are marketed.

Brazil Ministry of the Environment published Ordinance 490 dated 16 November, 2018 (Click Here). This resolution prescribes new emission limits for air pollutants of engines and vehicles to reduce and control the air pollution defined in the Vehicle Emission Control Program - PROCONVE (cars, trucks, buses and road and agricultural machines).

Health Canada published a notice of modification to the List of Permitted Food Enzymes dated 19 November, 2018 (Click Here) to enable the use of Lipase from Ogataea polymorpha B14-CBSsynt for specified uses in bakery products and pasta.

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) pursuant to the publication of the Legal Notice No. 127 of the Standards Acts, Cap. 496 on 19 June 2018 (Click Here), pertaining to the general public that all imported goods destined to Kenya shall be required to undergo mandatory inspection in the country of origin or supply prior to shipment into the country. Importers and the general public are informed that goods loaded on or after 1 October 2018 (Click Here), will be expected to fully comply with the provision of the Legal Notice.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) amended tolerances for residues of Pyrifluquinazon dated 26 November, 2018 (Click Here) in or on multiple commodities.

Turkey - Published following:
- Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Turkey published Food Codex Communiqué on 28 November 2018 regarding Food Simulants to be used for testing migration of constituents of plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
- Ministry of Industry and Technology, Turkey published Communiqué TS 2793 on 28 November 2018 regarding textile, wool woven fabrics for apparel use. This standard covers the sample description, characteristics, sampling, inspection and tests, placing on the market procedures of textile - wool woven fabrics used for apparel.

Spain - Published following:
- Royal Decree 750/2010 of Spain published on 23 November 2018 amending Individual Vehicle Approvals. This order will enter into force from 2 January of 2019, and will be mandatory 3 months after enforcement.
- Royal Decree 1205/2010 of Spain published on 26 November 2018 sets the basis for the inclusion of dietary foods for special medical uses in the provision with dietetic products of the National Health System and for the establishment of their maximum financing amounts.

Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, Chile published New Regulation for structural and safety requirements of Electric Vehicles.

Eurasian Economic Union – Commission published following
- Decision of the EEC Board No. 187 published on 20 November 2018 establishes a zero rate of import duty on certain types of electrodes from 8%.
- Decision of the EEC Board No. 189 published on 20 November 2018 changes EAEU HS and import duty rates for latex for the production of carpets. For three years, a temporary zero import duty rate has been set for latex for the production of carpets.

European Union Commission published following :
- Regulation (EU) 2018/1832 published on 5 November 2018 amending Directive 2007/46/EC for the purpose of improving the emission type approval tests and procedures for light passenger and commercial vehicles, including those for in-service conformity and real-driving emissions and introducing devices for monitoring the consumption of fuel and electric energy.
- Regulation (EU) 2018/1865 published on 28 November 2018 concerning the non-renewal of approval of the active substance propiconazole, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market.
- Regulation (EU) 2018/1866 published on 28 November 2018 amending Regulation (EC) No 474/2006 as regards the list of air carriers which are banned from operating or are subject to operational restrictions within the Union.
