The Directorate General of Foreign Trade published following:
- Notification No. 34/2015-2020 dated 25 September, 2018 (Click Here) allow export of remnant of chemicals after testing/analysis in the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) designated laboratories, falling under Category 1A in Appendix 3 (SCOMET items) to Schedule -2 of ITC (HS) classification of export and import items, 2018.
- Public Notice No. 40/2015-2020 dated 26 September, 2018 (Click Here) M/s Supreme International FZC ceases to be an approved Pre-shipment Inspection Agency and is removed from Appendix 2G of Appendices and Aayat Niryat Forms of FTP, 2015-20.
- Trade Notice No. 33/2018 dated 20 September, 2018 (Click Here) - new online e-com online module for the SEIS will be available to the exporters from 03.10.2018.

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), India has published following:
- Notification No. 66/2018 dated 26 September, 2018 (Click Here) and 65/2018-Customs dated 24 September, 2018 (Click Here) has extended the exemption from Integrated Tax and Compensation Cess provided to goods imported by Advance Authorization/EPCG authorizations and Export Oriented Units (EOU) for specified purposes till 31 March, 2019. Earlier this exemption was extended till 1 October, 2018.
- Increasing the Basic Customs Duty on 19 major items (Click Here) including Refrigerators, AC and major consumer goods, to curb import of certain imported items. These changes in rates of Basic Customs Duty (BCD) will be effective from 27 September, 2018.
- Notification No. 48/2018-Customs (ADD) dated 25 September, 2018 (Click Here) imposing Anti-dumping Duty on Saturated Fatty Alcohols from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand – Combinations of Low Duty Parties to be Charged Higher Duty.
- Notification No. 82/ 2018 – Customs (N.T.) dated 24 September, 2018 (Click Here) raised drawback rates of Gold, Silver Jewellery and Silver Articles. Gold jewellery Rs. 264 from Prev Rs. 246.5 and Silver Jewellery and Articles Rs. 3410 from Prev Rs. 2851.

Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, Department of Science and Technology update Joint Circular No. 20/2013 / TTLT-BYT-BCT-BNNPTNT dated 1 August, 2013 regulating the conditions, order and procedures for appointing food testing establishments in service of state management (Click Here) and Circular No. 28/2013 / TT-BCT dated 6 November, 2013 regulating state inspection of food safety (Click Here) for imported food.

Ministry of Public Health, Thailand published following dated 25 September, 2018:
- Notification No. 390 (BE 2561) (Click Here) issued under the Food Act BE 2522 for rules, conditions and procedures for using food in food produced for sale.

The Government of Hong Kong published Toys and Children’s Products Safety (Additional Safety Standards or Requirements) Regulation dated 26 September, 2018 (Click Here).

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code - Schedule 20 - Maximum residue limits Variation Instrument No. APVMA 5, 2018 dated 26 September, 2018 (Click Here) and APVMA 6, 2018 dated 27 September, 2018 (Click Here). This code provides to vary Schedule 20 of the Food Standards Code to include or change MRLs pertaining to agricultural products.

The Australian Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources issued 134-2018 Bulletin dated 27 September, 2018 (Click Here). The ministry has confirmed all battered and crumbed (BBC) prawns imported into Australia on or after 28 September, 2018 must comply with the new import conditions outlined in Biosecurity Advice 2018-15.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Spain published Royal Decree 1181/2018, of 21 September, 2018 (Click Here) concerning the indication of the origin of the milk used as an ingredient in the labeling of milk and milk products.

Minister of Health and Labour, Estonia published following amendments. This will be effective from 1 October 2018:
- Code of practice for the coding of medicinal products and products, and the use of the package code on 27 September, 2018 (Click Here).

United Kingdom published following on 21 September, 2018:
- Scottish Statutory Instruments 2048 No 283 (Click Here) The Plant Health (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2018. The amendment will come into force from 17 September, 2018.
- Scottish Statutory Instruments 2048 No 284 (Click Here) The Marketing of Ornamental Plant Propagating Material Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2018. The amendment will come into force from 17 September, 2018.
