  1. As per Notification 56/2015-2020 dated 27 March, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT port restriction for import of apples covered under EXIM Code 08081000 is hereby removed.

  2. As per Notification 54/2015-2020 (Click Here) & 55/2015-2020 (Click Here) dated 22/23 March, 2018 issued by the DGFT amendments to Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 are made for the extension of Integrated and Goods and Service Tax (IGST) and Compensation Cess exemption under Advance Authorisation, EPCG and EOU Scheme till 01.10.2018.

  3. As per Corrigendum to Public Notice No. 66/2015-2020 dated 22 March, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT correction has been made in the Entry at Sl.No.8019 of the Table 2 of Appendix 3B notified vide Public Notice No.66 dated 21 March, 2018 (Click Here).

  4. As per Public Notice 67/2015-2020 dated 22 March, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT processing of MEIS application for SEZ exports has been simplified through the changes in this public notice. Henceforth physical copy of SEZ shipping bills are not required to be submitted for claiming benefits under MEIS.

  5. As per Public Notice 68/2015-2020 dated 22 March, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT new para 4.07A is added in Handbook of Procedures 2015-20 related to Self-ratification Scheme.

As per Trade Notice 26/2018 dated 23 March, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT all RAs are instructed that past cases where MEIS applications received under FTP 2015-20 have not been considered merely on the grounds of description mismatch and not due to any mis-classification issues shall not be considered as “Finalised cases” for the purposes of para 3 of Public Notice 62 dated 16.02.2018 (Click Here). Therefore all such cases may be processed and finalized under the PN No.62.

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code - Schedule 20 - Maximum residue limits Variation Instrument No. APVMA 2, 2018 dated 23 March, 2018 (Click Here). This code provides to vary Schedule 20 of the Food Standards Code to include or change MRLs pertaining to agricultural products.
