As per Public Notice 49/2015-2020 dated 3 January, 2017 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT quantity of import item at S. No. 1 of SION K 36 (Sesame seeds) has been amended.

As per Notification 43/2015-2020 dated 29 December, 2017 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT export of all varieties of onions will be allowed only on Letter Of Credit (LC) subject to a Minimum Export Price (MEP) Of US$ 850 F.O.B. per Metric Ton till 20 January, 2018.

The Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published following:
- Direction under Section 16 (5) of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 dated 2 January, 2018 (Click Here) regarding ’’Health Claims’’ permitted under Food Safety and Standards (Fortification of Foods) Regulations, 2016.
- Notification S.O. 4083 (E) dated 1 January, 2018 (Click Here) on the authorization of 6 NABL Accredited food testing laboratories for analysis of sample under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
- Implementation of Food Safety and Standards (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Uses, Food for Special Medical Purposes, Functional Foods and Novel Food) Regulations, 2016 dated 29 December, 2017 (Click Here).

The Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade published following:
- Regulation 32/2017/ TT-BCT dated 28 December, 2017 (Click Here) for specifying and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on chemicals.
- Regulation 30/2017/ TT-BCT dated 26 December, 2017 (Click Here) issued the National Technical Regulation on safety due to the hydraulic resistance used in underground coal mines.

Ministry of Public Health, Thailand published volume 134, Special Issue 323 dated 28 December, 2017 (Click Here) to determine the checkpoint of imported drug.

The National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Indonesia published Regulation No. 29 Year 2017 dated 28 December, 2017 (Click Here). This regulation pertains to supervision of drug ingredients and food into Indonesian territory.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Administration of South Korea published following:
- Notice no. 1878 dated 3 January, 2018 (Click Here) pertaining to changes in the classification system of food additives standard and specification.
- Notice no. 1875 dated 28 December, 2017 (Click Here) to establish new standard for manufacturing, processing, standards and specifications of Arsenic.

The European Union published Corrigendum to Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2330 of 14 December 2017 (Click Here) concerning the authorisation of Iron(II) carbonate, Iron(III) chloride hexahydrate, Iron(II) sulphate monohydrate, Iron(II) sulphate heptahydrate, Iron(II) fumarate, Iron(II) chelate of amino acids hydrate, Iron(II) chelate of protein hydrolysates and Iron(II) chelate of glycine hydrate as feed additives for all animal species and of Iron dextran as feed additive for piglets dated 30 December, 2017.
