The new GST rates as per Notifications dated 25 January, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the Central Board of Excise & Customs, Ministry of Finance have been updated on the Indian Trade Portal – www.indiantradeportal.in.

As per Notification 47/2015-2020 dated 31 January, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT schedule 2 (Export Policy) of ITC (HS), 2018 is notified.

As per the Public Notice 02 Corrigendum/2015-2020 dated 30 January, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT correction has been made in the MEIS Appendix 38 description in entry no. 113, to align it with the ITC-HS present at the time of the notification of Public Notice 02, dated 01.04.2015. This correction is in effect from 01.04.2015.

As per Public Notice 57/2015-2020 dated 25 January, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT amendments in Appendix 4J of Hand Book of Procedure 2015-20 related to Export Obligation Period have been made.

The Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published Direction under Section 16 (5) of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 dated 28 December, 2018 (Click Here) regarding operationalization of standards of Food Additives for use in various Food Categories.

The Bangladesh Land Port Authority (BLPA) announced list of approved Export/Import goods in Bangladesh Land Port dated 1 February, 2018 (Click Here).

The Government of Vietnam has issued Decree No. 14/2018 / ND-CP dated 23 January, 2018 (Click Here) specifying the border trade activities of traders and the trading of goods of border residents.

Ministry of Health, Singapore published Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) (Prohibited Tobacco Products and Imitation Tobacco Products) (Exemption) Order 2018 dated 31 January, 2018 (Click Here). This order pertains to exemption from prohibition against importing tobacco product and comes into operation on 1 February, 2018.

Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risk (COFEPRIS) of Mexico published following amendments of its food additive regulations dated 25 January, 2018:

- Annex VII (Click Here) Sweeteners with an established IDA.

South Korea Food Drug Administration has published No. 2018-6 on 30 January, 2018 (Click Here) amending Regulations on safety screening of genetically modified foods.

Health Canada published a Notice of Modification to the List of Contaminants and Other Adulterating Substances in Foods dated 25 January, 2018 (Click Here) to add the Maximum Level for Total Glycoalkaloids (TGA) in Potato Tubers.

Director of Pharmaceuticals and Living Health, Japan published Regulatory Notice on Instruction of Package Insert for Prescription Drug dated 31 January, 2018 (Click Here).

Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety, European Union has published updated version of Annex I (Click Here) & Annexure II (Click Here) of list of additives dated 30 January, 2018.

Hong Kong has published amendment to Antibiotics Regulations on 26 January, 2018 (Click Here) prescribing fees of permit renewal.

United Kingdom published following:
- Statutory Instrument No 102/2018 on 31 January, 2018 (Click Here) regarding The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Amendment) Regulations 2018. This regulation will be enforced from 1 March, 2018.
- Statutory Instrument No 75/2018 on 25 January, 2018 (Click Here) regarding The Tobacco Products Manufacturing Machinery (Licensing Scheme) Regulations 2018.

The Government of Estonia published following:

The European Union published following:
- Regulation No. 2018/147 dated 29 January, 2018 (Click Here) amending Regulation (EU) No 1370/2013 as regards the quantitative limitation for buying-in skimmed milk powder.
- Regulation No. 2018/155 dated 31 January, 2018 (Click Here) amending Regulation (EU) No 686/2012 allocating to Member States, for the purposes of the renewal procedure, the evaluation of active substances.

The Eurasian Economic Union published following:
- Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 81 of January 29, 1981 amended paragraph 18 (Click Here) of the Rules for the state registration of genetically modified organisms intended for release into the environment, as well as products obtained with the use of such organisms or containing such organisms, including said products imported into the territory of the Russian Federation.
