As per Notification No. 50/2017-Customs, dated 30 June, 2018 issued by the Customs, tariff Concession for goods imported under Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA) (Click Here), w.e.f. 1 July, 2018 has been updated on the Indian Trade Portal – www.indiantradeportal.in.

Circular 9/2015-2020 dated 9 July, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT regarding clarification on acceptance of any copy of Shipping Bill in lieu of EP copy of Shipping Bill for grant of Export Obligation Discharge Certificate (EODC) of Advance Authorisation.

As per Trade Notice 21/2018-2019 dated 6 July, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT relates to treatment of peas (other than Yellow Peas) imported during the period 25.4.2018 to 15.5.2018.

The National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Indonesia published Regulation No. 8 Year 2018 dated 27 June, 2018 (Click Here) pertaining to maximum limit of chemical contamination in processed food.

The Instutute of Standards of Cambodia published amendment to the Law on Standards of Cambodia dated 11 July, 2018 (Click Here).

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Instrument No. 4 (MRL Standard) Amendment Instrument 2018 (No. 7) dated 6 July, 2018 (Click Here). It amends the MRLs of agricultural and veterinary chemicals and MRLs for pesticides in animal feed commodities for certain compounds.

The Australian Department of Agricultural Water Resources (DAWR) published following:
- Notice No. 69-2018 dated 6 July, 2018 (Click Here) on the import inspection procedures for cooked shrimp.
- Notice No. 72-2018 dated 12 July, 2018 (Click Here) changes to import conditions to take effect 25 July, 2018.

Health Canada published Following:
- Amendment to its food additive regulations. This document modifies the List of Permitted Emulsifying, Gelling, Stabilizing or Thickening Agents dated 9 July, 2018 (Click Here) enabled the use of Gellan Gum in certain standardized flavoured milks.
- Mandatory new requirements and tests for magnetic toys in the Toys Regulations dated 25 June, 2018 (Click Here) pertaining to regulatory changes include restrictions on both the size and strength of magnetic toy components, as well as specific tests to identify dangerous magnetic parts that may separate from a toy during play.

The European Commission published following:
- Regulation (EU) 2018/960 dated 7 July, 2018 (Click Here) amending maximum residue levels for lambda-cyhalothrin in or on certain products. The amended MRLs go into effect 26 January, 2019.
- Regulation (EU) 2018/982 published on 11 July, 2018 (Click Here) concerning the authorisation of the preparation of benzoic acid, calcium formate and fumaric acid as feed additive for chickens for fattening and chickens reared for laying.
- Regulation (EU) 2018/978 published on 9 July, 2018 (Click Here) amending Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 regarding cosmetic products.

United Kingdom published Statutory Instrument No. 825 on 9 July, 2018 regarding the Trade Marks Regulations 2018. This regulation will come into force from 14 January, 2019.

Ministry of the Environment and Food, Denmark published decrees on the import of feed (Click Here) and food (Click Here) on 12 July, 2018 with special restrictions and on penalties for breach of various EU acts.

Ministry of Health and Elderly, Denmark published executive order amending the executive order on private imports of medicines on 6 July, 2018 (Click Here).

Presidential Decree No. 402 of 3 July, 2018 (Click Here) amended the Regulations on the importation into the Russian Federation from Non-EEA Countries and the exportation from the Russian Federation. The requirements for the documents necessary for the exercise of state control in the circulation of precious metals and precious stones have been clarified.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has published a final rule clarifying that all honey (Click Here) must include conspicuous and indelible country-of-origin labeling to meet applicable USDA regulations and U.S. Customs law. The rule was published in the Federal Register 6 July, 2018, and is effective immediately.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published following:
- Final rule (40 CFR 713) dated 27 June, 2018 (Click Here) that specifies mercury-added products, mercury and mercury compounds in stock, and mercury used in manufacturing processes (including imports). Declaration requirements. The final rule will take effect on 27 August, 2018.
- Tolerances for residues of Pyroxsulam dated 10 July, 2018 (Click Here) in or on teff forage, teff grain, teff hay, and teff straw.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently adopted consumer product safety standards for durable infant or toddler products (Click Here). To comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), the Commission issued a safety standard for baby changing products. This rule incorporates by reference ‘ASTM F2388-18’, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Baby Changing Products for Domestic Use.
