Dear Madam/Sir,
  1. As per Notification 04/2015-2020 dated 25 April, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT import policy of Yellow Peas under Exim Code 07131000 is revised from free’’ to ’’restricted’’ for a period of three months (from 1 April to 30 June, 2018).

  2. As per Notification 05/2015-2020 dated 25 April, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT, Transitional Arrangements provision has been detailed under para 1.05 (b) of Foreign Trade policy (2015-20).

  3. As per Trade Notice 03/2018-19 dated 25 April, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT it clarifies that Regional Authorities may allow revalidation of Advance Authorisation/DFIA, under the provisions of para 2.20(d) of HBP 2015-20, which has been amended vide PN 38 dated 9.11.2017, even if Authorisation is issued under FTP, 2009-14 provided conditions stipulated in the said Public Notice are fulfilled.

  4. As per Trade Notice 04/2018-19 dated 25 April, 2018 (Click Here) issued by the DGFT it clarifies that only the service categories which have been notified in appendix 3D for SEIS are allowed for claim under SEIS. It is immaterial whether these notified services are delivered on an IT enabled platform or otherwise.

  5. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has published Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) fifth Amendment Regulations, 2018 dated 19 April, 2018 (Click Here) related to revision of standards for Cane Jaggery or Cane Gur, Sodium and Calcium Saccharin (food grade).

  6. National Health Surveillance Agency of Brazil (ANVISA) published new rules for the packaging of tobacco smoke products dated 20 April, 2018 (Click Here). According to new rule now the warning models are square, round, rectangular, triangular and trapezoidal in shape, in addition to the traditional Mazo format.

  7. Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food of Greece published decision no. 1710/51865 (Click Here) detailed rules for the application of articles 5 and 7 of Law 4492/2017 (A156) dated 25 April, 2018 on the compulsory labeling of origin for milk and dairy products.

  8. The South Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) published following on 25 April, 2018:

  9. Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, United Kingdom published Statutory Instruments No 510/2018 on 23 April, 2018 (Click Here) regarding the Plant Health etc. (Fees) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2018. This regulation will come into force from 21 May, 2018.

  10. The Hong Kong published following amendments on 26 April, 2018:

Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) published public notice on inspection of imported used motor vehicles and mobile equipment dated 20 April, 2018 (Click Here) on the authorization of M/s Quality Inspection Services Inc. Japan (QISJ) to inspect used motor vehicles, mobile equipment and used spare parts for a period of 36 months with effect from 15 April, 2018. The mobile equipment refers to used trailers, bulldozers, agricultural tractors, excavators, graders, moveable cranes and off-road vehicles.

  12. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published Tolerances for residues of chlormequat chloride dated 25 April, 2018 (Click Here) in or on multiple commodities.
