Uganda - Draft Uganda Standard DUS 1659:2017 - Requirements for packaging materials

Uganda National Bureau of Standards has issued Draft Uganda StandardDUS 1659:2017, Materials in contact with food - Requirements for packaging materials. Thisprovides the general requirements of packaging items for food contact and their subsequent use.

Proposed date of adoption: June 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives.

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
