Uganda - Mubende District Maize Quality Bill, 2016

The Bill contains provisions on: moisture content limit; drying maize; use of herbicides on maize; registration requirements; deliberate contamination of maize; agronomic practices for maize farming; use of fertilizers and manure; harvesting and post-harvest handling of maize; and agro-inputs. The Bill also contains requirements to trade in maize in Mubende District. Note: This Bill will also be notified to the SPS committee.
