EU – Draft Commission Regulation amending the Annex to Regulation (EU) No 609/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the lists of substances that may be added to processed cereal-based food and baby food and to food for special medical purposes European Commission has issued draft Commission Delegated Regulation concerns authorisation of the addition of ferrous bisglycinate, as a source of iron to processed cereal-based food and baby food, and calcium phosphoryl oligosaccharides, as a source of calcium to food for special medical purposes, in the future in line with EFSA's relevant scientific opinions. Proposed date of adoption: 2nd quarter 2017 Proposed date of entry into force: The proposed measure shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the EU. The proposed measure will apply in accordance with Article 22 of Regulation (EU) No 609/2013.
