Malaysia - Guideline on test report validity of electrical equipment

Energy Commission has notified guideline on test report validity of electrical equipment based on risk of electrical equipment identified by the Energy Commission.

·  When applying CoA, for high risk equipment, the origin test report shall be valid for not less than 1 year and not exceeding 5 years from the date of test report.

·  When applying CoA, for low risk equipment, validity of test report exceeding 5 years is acceptable.

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
