Korea Republic - Draft proposal of the Act on Safety Management of Consumer Chemical Products and Biocides

Ministry of Environment has proposed draft of the Act on Safety Management of Consumer Chemical Products and Biocides, which major contents Safety management of consumer chemical products, approval of biocidal substances, authorization of biocidal products, safety management of treated articles, data protection and sharing, distribution management of consumer chemical products and biocides, etc.

Proposed date of adoption: 1 January 2018

Proposed date of entry into force: 1 January 2019

Final date for comments: 30 days from notification
