Myanmar - Emergency measures for pork and pork products importation published Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Myanmar has already notified that the African Swine Fever was one of the listed (A) Contagious diseases by Animal Health and Development Law (1993). Due to the outbreaks reported globally and regionally, the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department allows the importation of live pigs and pig products such as fresh, chilled or frozen pork, ham, sausages and other pig products only from ASF Disease free countries by notifications of disease outbreak in WAHIS portal of OIE. Products covered : Live swine, Meat of swine, fresh, chilled or frozen, Edible offal of swine, Pig fat, free of lean meat, Hams, shoulders and cuts thereof, with bone, Bellies (streaky) and cuts thereof, Bacon as boneless hams, Pigs', hogs' or boars' bristles and hair and waste thereof, Pig fat (including lard) and poultry fat, Other prepared or preserved meat, meat offal or blood (of swine), Hams and cuts thereof.
