Brazil proposes changes for the active ingredient Deltamethrin Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) incorporates the following changes for the active ingredient D06 - DELTAMETRINA (deltamethrin) from the Relation of Monographies of Active Ingredients of Pesticides, Household Cleaning Products and Wood Preservers, all in the modality of foliar use (application): - includes the avocado, kiwi, papaya, passion fruit, and mango cultures with MRL of 0,1 mg/kg and safety security period of 1 day;
- includes the persimmon, star fruit, grape, and guava cultures with MRL of 0,08 mg/kg and safety security period of 1 day;
- includes the quince, nectarine, loquat, and pear cultures with MRL of 0,2 mg/kg and safety security period of 5 days;
- includes the pumpkin, zucchini, chayote, and gherkin cultures with MRL of 0,03 mg/kg and safety security period of 2 days;
- -includes the pepper, jilo, and okra cultures with MRL of 0,06 mg/kg and safety security period of 2 days;
- includes the pea, caupi bean, and chickpea cultures with MRL of 0,5 mg/kg and safety security period of 3 days;
- changes the MRL of the peach culture from 0,04 to 0,2 mg/kg;
- changes the MRL of the red pepper culture from 0,01 to 0,06 mg/kg;
- includes the phrase: "for the purpose of residue definition for conformity with MRL and for the dietary risk assessment it will be considered the sum of the active ingridient deltamethrin and its isomers a-R-deltamethrin and trans-deltamethrin, expressed as deltamethrin.
