EU amending regulation on botanical species containing hydroxyanthracene derivatives

European Commission proposing regulation concerns the inclusion of certain substances in Annex III of Regulation (EC) 1925/2006.The purpose of this Regulation is to prohibit or place under Union scrutiny the use in food of certain hydroxyanthracene derivatives and botanical extracts containing them following a scientific evaluation by the European Food Safety Authority.
