Malaysia permitted Lacto-N-neotetraose in milk powder

Food Safety & Quality Division to amend the relevant schedules by inserting:

Lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT) as permitted optional ingredient with level of 60mg/100ml for LNnT, 120mg/100ml 2-Fucosyllactose (2-FL) in ratio 1:2 in infant formula, follow-up formula and formulated milk powder for children.

Lacto-N-neotetraose (LNnT) as permitted optional ingredient with maximum level of 60mg/100ml (as prepared) in formulated milk powder for children.
