China published measures for the supervision and administration of the quality and safety of agricultural products on the market for human consumption

The packaging and labelling of imported agricultural products for human consumption sold in China must comply with the requirements of Chinese laws, administrative regulations and national food safety standards. They should indicate the origin, name, address and contact information of domestic agents in China. The packaging of imported fresh or frozen meat products must also indicate date of manufacture, shelf life, storage temperature, etc. The packaging of imported agricultural products for human consumption for separation sales must indicate all information of the original imported products, the information of company, time and location on sub-packaging, as well as shelf life.
