Thailand - Draft Notification of Ministry of Industry on List of Hazardous Substances (No.3) To rectify and add some hazardous substances attached to the Notification of Ministry of Industry on List of Hazardous Substances 2013 dated 28 August 2013 as follows: 1. Revised hazardous substance of the responsible agencies: Food and Drug Administration - Revised 3 items: in List 4.1, No.3 (1,1,2-trichloroethane) and No.157 (Methanol), and List 4.3, No.5 (Household and public health products used as correction fluid or to dissolve correction fluid or dry cleaning) -to exempt the product in form of correction tape or correction pen. Departmentof Industrial Works - Revised 1 item: in List 5.4, No.6 (Hydrofluorocarbons) -to change from type 3 to type 1 (no need to register and get a permit). 2. Add items of hazardous substances into the existing lists which are: Food and Drug Administration - Add formaldehyde or methanal in List 4.1 No.225 as hazardous substance type 4 (prohibit if use as an active ingredient in household and public health product used as disinfectants and cleaning products for floor, wall, sanitary ware, and others materials). Departmentof Industrial Works - Add 8 items in List 5.1, as No.489-496 which are · Cresol (1319-77-3) · HFC-245eb (431-31-2) · HFC-338mcc (662-35-1) · HFC-338mee (377-36-6) · HFC-356ffa (407-59-0) · HFO-1234yf (754-12-1) · HFO-1234ze (1645-83-6, 29118-24-9) · HFC-1336mzz-Z (692-49-9) Remark: Cresol will be classified as hazardous substance type 2, meanwhile the remaining will be type 3.
