EU - Draft Commission Regulation amending Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products

Europan commission has issued  draft Regulation amending Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products. This draft Commission Regulation aims at restricting the use of methylisothiazolinone as a preservative in rinse-off cosmetic products from the currently authorised concentration of 100 ppm to 15 ppm.

Proposed date of adoption: 3rd quarter 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: 20 days from publication in the Official Journal of the EU

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
