Korea - Draft of Operation Bulletin of Electrical Appliances and Industrial Products Safety Control Act

• Prescribes how to issue the safety certification of the products which has KS certification.

• Modifies the term "fuse and fuse holder" to "fuse" and "circuit breakers for equipment" to "circuit breakers" in order to prevent the confusion.

• Separates the "control circuit switch" to "switches from appliances" in order to correspond with international standard.

• Considers the law risk of working voltage and fairness of safety control level, electrocutor using battery will be transferred from the scope of Safety Confirmation to Self-Regulation Safety Confirmation.

• Describes the detail of Safety Control Industrial Products which is regulated in the amendment of enforcement rule and prescribes the criteria of the derivative model that is now provided in Safety Standard.
