Nepal - Proposed maximum limits of melamine in food products

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Agricultural Development, Department of Food Technology and Quality Control has proposed maximum limits of melamine in food products.The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control proposes the maximum limits of melamine in food products. This measure serves:

a.  as a compulsory provision under food law and regulation;

b.  to monitor export / import of these food products; and

      c.  to maintain safe and quality food products to the consumer.
