Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), Health Canada has proposed maximum residue limit: Abamectin (PMRL2016-62).The objective of the notified document PMRL2016-62 is to consult on the listed domestic maximum residue limit (MRL) for abamectin that has been proposed by the Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).

2The MRL of 0.07 ppm is proposed to replace the currently established MRL of 0.02 ppm in/on tomatoes.

Proposed date of adoption : Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website.

Proposed date of entry into force: [ ] Six months from date of publication, and/or : On the date the measure is adopted
