Turkey - Communiqué on the Methods of Sampling and Analysis for the Control of the Levels of Trace Elements and Processing Contaminants in Foodstuffs

Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock/DG Food and Control has issued Communiqué which lays down criteria for methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, inorganic tin, inorganic arsenic, 3-MCPD and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons ("PAH") listed in the Turkish Food Codex Regulation on contaminants.

Proposed date of adoption: 1 January 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: At the publication date but one year adaptation period will be provided

Final date for comments: 2 January 2017
