Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock/General Directorate of Food and Control has issued notification on the methods of sampling and analysis for the control of the levels of trace elements and processing contaminants in foodstuffs.It also establishes the performance criteria with which the method of analysis used for official control has to be complied.

Proposed date of adoption : 1 January 2017

Proposed date of publication : 1 March 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: [ ] Six months from date of publication, and/or : At the date of publication but one year adaptation period.

Final date for comments: [X] Sixty days from the date of circulation of the notification and/or : 16 December 2016
